The Southwell Scoop's purpose is to showcase the talent, unique businesses and events from within the area, online so that together we can reach and attract more visitors.
We believe in collaboration and are now offering photographers of all abilities and styles, an opportunity to feature on our website, to gain further exposure within our social media channels and to contribute to the promotion of the local area to a national/global audience.
We are showcasing local photographers and at the same time creating a database of images relating to Southwell and the surrounding areas. Individual images will always be credited to the photographer, therefore when images are used on our social media or website, the photographer will gain repeated exposure and be assisting in the promotion of the wider economic and residential community.
Later in 2018 there will also be opportunities for some photographers who contribute regularly to our database to make money from their images or take part in specific promotional projects.
To feature there is a yearly fee of £49 to cover admin and maintanence costs of the website.

Once registered, we ask that photographers who wish to gain additional exposure, do continue to provide us with images relating to the Southwell and surrounding areas. Images need to be supplied with a watermark and will form part of a database for future use by the Southwell Scoop. The copyright remains with the individual who will be credited whenever the image is used publicly, unless otherwise agreed in advance. Images will not be shared with third parties without permission.
We will not be held liable for any misuse of images, downloading, copying or infringement of copyright by users of our website or by any third parties. Abiding by data protection, privacy laws and copyright when taking and distributing images is the responsibility of the photographer. The Southwell Scoop will not accept any responsibility for breach of these laws.
