Alicia - one of the founders of The Southwell Scoop lost her brother to a brain tumour 3 years ago, we discovered that it claims the lives of more people under the age of 40 than any other cancer and yet proportionally receives much smaller amounts towards research. Since then we have been supporting Brain Tumour Research through fundraising and by taking part in their annual Wear A Hat Day.
This year each local business who advertises with us via the Southwell Online Business Package for 3 months March - June will be directly supporting the cause too. £5 from the £20 monthly fee will be donated to the Brain Tumour Research Charity.
